Week 8 EOC Disastrous New Products


There are some good products out there for everyone’s needs. There are also so very bad product out there.  There are some products that were disaster products and should not here ever been put out on the market. I going to create three disaster products. Disaster products are products that would never sell.
         The  first disaster products would be Men’s Makeup. Makeup that was gear to making  a man face look better. This product would be marketed to the men that really care about there image. The challenge of this product would be trying to convince men that they can wear makeup and still be masculine. Can you even picture that? This is a disaster product because most men don’t even buy there own soap.  Makeup is a women’s product and has been since the beginning. It would be a waste of time and money to try to turn this product into a men’s product. Men do not wear makeup and I don’t ever see that changing.
         The second disaster product would be “Spinach To Go” for kids. This product would be make to put in kids lunch box. It would have to be marketed to parents that want their kids to eat healthy. The challenge of this product would be how do marketer make this product appealing to kids. This would be a disaster product because though spinach is healthy, it is not the best tasting product. It is hard enough just to make kids eat spinach. I would be even harder to get kids to ask their persons to buy it for their lunch box.
         The last disaster product would be men’s wigs. Can you imagine a man with a different wig on every day. That doesn’t even sound right to me. I do believe there are a lot a lot of men out there that care about there image but I men don’t change they style daily. Men normally stick to the same trend for months at a time. The only way I see a man putting on a wig is for a costume.
