final Project-Marketing Strategy


My marketing strategy will be really simple. Almost everything that a man does is to impress woman. He wants a nice car to impress women. He dresses in name brand clothes to impress woman. He makes sure that his hair is cut  and brushed to empress woman. The strategy would be to convince men that by buying this product they will empress women. I would start by doing a commercial campaign. I commercial would have the same theme but different situation. The theme of the commercial would be, every time a man puts on chapstick women  begin to notice him.  Women also get this overwhelming desire to kiss the man with the chapstick.  Chapstick is the lip magnet for women. My objective is to presenting a product to men that women would be more familiar went.  A product the both man and women both need but women more commonly buy. My will target me from acts 18 through 45. Chapstick for men would be the product of choice. We would market the product by show men the women are attracted to men that have nice lip. Chapstick is the Lip Magnet. Her Eyes Are On You

The Mission is the to show man the women pay close attention to detail. Men need to know the lips are a very important part of their image and the better the lips are the more attractive they are to women. EOC: Week 10: What Channels are you going to do to get your product noticed?


Producing a product or service and making it available to buyers requires building relationships not just with customers, but also with key suppliers and resellers in the company’s supply chain. This supply chain consists of “upstream” and “downstream” partners. Marketing: An Introduction, 10th Ed. Page 311
The first thing I would do is establish relationship with the company the are going the supply me with the materials to get my product manufacture. I need to connect with my upstream partner so I can get my producer created the cheapest.

Then next I would be to extablish my downstream relationship the with the major retail story such as Walmart, Target, Kmart,  and more.  After my product is created I need it to be sold in a store that gets a lot of business daily. Week 9 EOC Final Project- Mission Statement





There was many good Mission statements. It was hard to pick three but I managed to come up with three the I liked.
Our mission is to provide luxurious feeling of comfort in your clothing. Provide a product that is easy to use and is available everywhere for everyone. We focus on what makes our consumers feel good. When we say feel good we literally mean feel GOOD. This mission statement was short and too the point but it pen point what the mission was.
The purpose of our company is to serve our customers to the fullest of our abilities. We will produce a superior product and make it readily available to our customers. I don’t feel Mission statements should be long and drawn out. I do think that they should paint a picture of a clear mission of your company

This mission statement was the best because the use refrences from the book and they explain in detail what there mission was.

Week 8 EOC Disastrous New Products


There are some good products out there for everyone’s needs. There are also so very bad product out there.  There are some products that were disaster products and should not here ever been put out on the market. I going to create three disaster products. Disaster products are products that would never sell.
         The  first disaster products would be Men’s Makeup. Makeup that was gear to making  a man face look better. This product would be marketed to the men that really care about there image. The challenge of this product would be trying to convince men that they can wear makeup and still be masculine. Can you even picture that? This is a disaster product because most men don’t even buy there own soap.  Makeup is a women’s product and has been since the beginning. It would be a waste of time and money to try to turn this product into a men’s product. Men do not wear makeup and I don’t ever see that changing.
         The second disaster product would be “Spinach To Go” for kids. This product would be make to put in kids lunch box. It would have to be marketed to parents that want their kids to eat healthy. The challenge of this product would be how do marketer make this product appealing to kids. This would be a disaster product because though spinach is healthy, it is not the best tasting product. It is hard enough just to make kids eat spinach. I would be even harder to get kids to ask their persons to buy it for their lunch box.
         The last disaster product would be men’s wigs. Can you imagine a man with a different wig on every day. That doesn’t even sound right to me. I do believe there are a lot a lot of men out there that care about there image but I men don’t change they style daily. Men normally stick to the same trend for months at a time. The only way I see a man putting on a wig is for a costume.

Final Project-Pitch

I have a challenge for you. How do you get men to go and purchase lip balm.  From a marketing stand point it would be a lot easier to advertise lip balm to women but it is know that man use lip balm as well. The challenge would be getting men to go to the store and purchase lip balm them self, not having there wives or girlfriends buy it for them. Men care about their image just like women do. Most men care what women think about their image. If their was a way we could advertise lip balm to men by showing them that women are attracted to men with nice lips, I believe that men would go and purchase the produce.

I have a vision of a commercial that could start that campaign. I producer that I would be advertising would be Chapstick for men. I’ve never seen a commercial that showed women being attracted to men with nice lip. In this commercial the target would be men. The story board would be as follows: A nice looking man in his mid twenties puts Chapstick on his lip. Everywhere this man goes women begin to stare at his lip with a strong desire to kiss his lips. Other man beginning to notice that women are following this man, it is only natural for them to wonder why.  Every time he puts on Chapstick his lip become a magnet to women’s lip. At the end of the commercial another man puts on Chapstick and a beautiful woman walks up to him and plants a big kiss on him.

This commercial would give the impression that Chapstick would make woman want to kiss a men. The main reason why men do anything is to impress woman. So, if the advertiser could convince men the by buying this produce it would make women more attracted to them, the advertiser would be successful in getting men to buy the produce.

EOC Week 6: 9 App

The are so many great apps for smart phone. Almost everything you can do on a computer you can do on a smart phone.  One of my favorite apps is Document.  This app allows you to open and edit documents. I a student so it is convenient for to be able to work on my homework on my phone.

EOC Week 5: Best and Worst Super Comercail


         This years Super Bowl was explosive. The game kept you wanting to see more. I couldn't leave me sit. There was only one negative time part of the Super Bowl that I seen and that was the singing of the National Anthem. I hope that next years artist, at the very least, knows the words to the song before they begin singing.

         The commercials this year were amazing. Every year the commercials seen to get better and better. How do they come up with this stuff? At times the commercials were better than the game itself. There were so many great commercial that I couldn’t pick which one I liked the best.

         Doritos had one of the funniest commercial. It had me cracking up. A pug sees a guy in a glass door taunting him with Doritos chips. The guy was trying to get the pug to run into the clean glass window but the pug knocks down the glass door on top of the guy and eats his the Doritos. Funny

The Kia Optima’s “One Epic Ride ” commercial was like a mini movie. The Digit effects on this commercial were awesome. I was ready to go to the movie theater to look for this commercial. I think I watched this commercial over and over again.

         In my opinion the Brisk commercial with Eminem was one of the worst commercials. The whole commercial was about why Eminem don’t do commercials. To me it really didn’t do anything for the Brisk brand.

         The commercial this year were great. There were only a couple that I didn’t like but I’m just one person. I can only imagine how successful this commercials were. I can’t wait until next year to see what they come up with next.

Week 4 EOC: Business to Business vs Consumer Marketing

   The process of improving business and increasing sales via any distinct strategic plan is called marketing. There are two major types of marketing include business to business and business to consumer marketing. Although both marketing strategics are semiliar there are some very distinct differences between the two strategics.

  There are a lot of differences but one of the biggest differences is the way they sell their products or services. In business to consumer marketing, the marketer sells to the consumers, who are the ones that are using the product or service. While in business to business marketing, the marketer sells the merchandise to organizations or companies, such as to a business dealer so that they can sell the product as well and turn in profits. Also one major different is in business to business marketing the marketer do not use media advertisements. Instead, marketer use magazines, business newspapers, and direct mails to advertise to buyer companies or organizations.

Week 2 EOC: Boston Consulting Group - Video Games


The economy has made a negative impact world wide. Many company are experiencing declines in sales. The video games industry is no different. From the 2009 through 2010 the video game industry has experience a major decline in sales. The video game industry continued its dismal run for the second straight year, with sales down 6.0% year over year in 2010 to $18.58 billion, according to the research group NPD. (http://seekingalpha.com/article/247116-video-game-sales-decline-in-2010) The continues to declines in 2011.  However, video game accessory has successful increase in sales. Video game accessory sales increased 10.0% to $778.4 million in December, driven by higher sales of Microsoft's Kinect motion-sensing controller.             Call of Duty: Black Ops was the highest grosser in the month of December. The game earned $1.0 billion in worldwide revenue within the first six weeks in stores. Analysts expect retail sales to continue to suffer in 2011. However, analysts believe that higher growth from mobile games and Facebook games will offset this trend going forward. More and more gamer are moving digital downloads. It’s more convenient to play a game on you phone than it is to play a sit a home playing on your Playstation.
            I believe it is a good time to get prepared for the transition to digital downloads, used game sales, game rentals, subscriptions, social network games and mobile game apps. Mobile games apps are getting more and more popular. Hit IPhone game Angry Birds has now sold more than 6.5 million downloads on the App Store, according to developer Rovio. The game, which was published by Chillingo, has only been available since December 2009. (http://www.casualgaming.biz/news/30380/Angry-Birds-iPhone-passes-65m-sales-milestone) This is proof that mobile game apps are starting to be higher  in demand. This is truly the digital age.

Week 1 EOC: Great Customer Service


   Customer Service is a very important part of just about any business.  It is impossible to have a successful company without consistency from your customer.  Good customer service married with reasonable prices will keep customers coming back and a satisfied customer will tell others about there experience.  Word of mouth is the best advertisement.

   I work in the audio production field running a recording studio. It’s a new studio but I have successfully created relationships with my customers and because of this relationships other customers hear about my studio. I treat each customer like they are the only one and I ask questions to find out if they are satisfied with the service.  Many times I get phone call from other patental customer that were referred by my consistent customers. So far I haven’t really done any major promoting but I’ve learned that a satisfied customer with tell there family and friends about a good experience.

   Customer relationships and value are especially important in today’s tough economic times, when more frugal consumers are cutting back and spending more carefully. (Marketing: An Introduction for Education Management Corporation, 10th Edition. Page 4)

   I been to recording studios where the engineer acts like he knows it and doesn’t allow the artist to express themselves. I’ve also worked for studios that were are all about money and it’s painfully obvious. There wasn’t any value for the customer. A lot of those studios went out of business because people don’t like to be mistreated.  I’ve learned from their mistakes and I’ve created an environment where a artist can free good about the finished product but enjoyed the process of recording it.  For recognize that without the customer I don’t have a business, so make sure that the customer is happy and I follow up with them so that they see that they are valuable.
